Our sharks from shark week last week! The kids were relieved to hear that sharks don't live in Michigan lakes!

Last week we traced our hands and used a popsicle stick to turn them into sunflowers!  Who remembers playing parachute games in school? Well, these kids LOVED it today!    We practiced our letter matching and spelling skills by making suns with our names in them!  Have you ever seen a swimming dinosaur or unicorn before? You have now!  On Thursday, June 23, 2022 our praying mantis eggs finally hatched! The kids helped Mr. Jordan and I find sticks, sand, and things outside to create a habitat for them. Then Mr. Jordan (because Ms. Jessy isn't a big fan of bugs haha) asked the kids if they wanted to hold the praying mantises. Afterwards we released them onto flowers, and into the garden where we still see them all around the yard!
